Who we are ..

Lester Perrault

Worker, Learner,  Wonderer,  Visionary

“I feel the need for re-villaging.  Visioning for the coming together of a diverse family of multigenerational folks who want to remember how to trust and share again. Through a willingness and commitment to a shared lifestyle, whereby we meet to share tasks, inspirations and care, authentic relationships can and will evolve. By coming together in regular circle gatherings and resolving our conflicts restoratively, trust can build and we can thrive and dance together again. "

Gareth Phillips “G”

A lover of cacao, music and freedom and a skilled massage practitioner

“I am a free spirited soul, charismatic with a great smile, my essence is gentle and calm. I left England in my late teens and have enjoyed many years living and exploring Canada and the World. In 2022, I followed my heart and drove across Canada, following a curiosity and desire to live more simply and in community. Through fate and destiny, I found my way to the land and was invited to join Anam Fiáin in the fall of 2023.

A unicorn at heart with many colourful life experiences, I can't wait to see this community continue to grow and to flourish.”

Alexandra Bobek

Life Coach, Mentor, Mother, Community Gatherer

I have dreamed of living in community for most of my life and moved to the land in 2023. I love gathering people, being peaceful by the water and learning new skills, striving to live simply, in a regenerative way and in harmony with the land. I believe that we, as human beings, have the responsibility to give back and care for the land and her inhabitants. This will allow us to live a more soulful live, nurturing relationships and cultivating heart connections.”

Jessica Steele

Early Childhood Educator and Teacher, Outdoor Lover

“Born and raised in Low, Quebec, the energy of this beautiful place has magnetized me back. Being surrounded by nature is where I feel most alive and at home. I am a passionnate paddle boarder. Waters hold such a scared healing space. I believe in experiential learning, by actively experiencing the environment. Children are my teachers, reminding me to be curious, joyful and playful. Mother Earth allows me the space to learn more about myself through her stillness and silence. Each element sparks and shines a light on deeper parts of myself. As I remember the ways of our ancestors by loving and learning from the land, I grow in reverence each day. With every breath and step I take I am continually creating my path.”
